This simple, fresh and chilly dessert only takes a few minutes to put together out of treats that may already be hiding in the kitchen.
On a summery evening Frozen Grasshopper Squares, a chilly and minty quickly prepared, is the perfect refresher after a big meal. Evolution of the GrasshopperStemming from the classic cocktail, many versions of the Grasshopper have been created including desserts and blended drinks. The first beverage recipe is thought to have originated in the French Quarter of New Orleans in the mid twentieth century and is named for one of the key ingredients: crème de menthe which is brilliant green in colour. When talking sustenance the term Grasshopper conjures thoughts of creamy mint and chocolate (or of course protein rich insects but that is another recipe). Ingredients
